Emily Henkle - Owner

Hello! My name is Emily Henkle (Cashman), and I am the owner of both, The Bridal Garden, and Flowers by Nature's Corner (next door).

So...why flowers? Why dresses? For me it’s simple, they both make me happy, and they make others happy. When I was 14, I decided I wanted to own my own flower shop/bridal store someday, little did I know just 6 years later I would be blessed with an opportunity to purchase the 36-year-old flower shop right on main street Vinton. Then, 6 years LATER, gain an opportunity to start my own bridal store right next door! Wedding gowns are with brides on the happiest day of their lives and flowers are with everyone through their best days and their worst. Doing what I do, I get to be there for every milestone in my customers lives and it is truly a gift.

I was born and raised in Vinton. My husband, Kyle farms in Garrison, and we live in-town with our Corgi, Frank. We both tend to be workaholics but it's because we both love what we do.!

My store, my family, and my community are the most important things to me. It has been a crazy journey so far, but I look forward to all the years I have left doing what I do best! We look forward to meeting you and making your wedding beautiful not only with the perfect dress, but also with the perfect florals!

Heidi Reeder - Manager

It all began for me at the age of 5 when I wanted to design wedding gowns for my dolls. Since then, I have gone to school for fashion design, apparel merchandising, and spent several years working in the fashion industry. I love hearing about the bride’s love stories, their forever love, and how they plan to make their wedding day truly special. It is something I especially relate to now, and a recent bride myself! I believe that every person has a unique love story, and their dress should reflect that. I can’t wait to help you find yours!
